Echocardiogram

Echocardiogram

An echocardiogram, or cardiac ultrasound, uses high-frequency sound waves to produce detailed images of the heart and its surrounding blood vessels. This non-invasive test allows healthcare professionals to assess the heart’s structure, functionality, and movement in real-time. Sound waves emitted by the transducer bounce off heart structures and return to create a visual representation, enabling accurate diagnosis and monitoring of various cardiac conditions.
